The dead body of the woman was found from the Maigalganj area of Lakhimpur district yesterday evening, while the child was discovered with severe injuries by the tracks near the Mehmoodabad area here, police said.

Rabia is undergoing treatment in Lucknow. Once her condition stabilises, police would get additional information, the CO said.
