The Samsung India announced its latest flagship Smartphone Galaxy Note 8  and it has been launched in India today & it’s the company’s first device with a dual camera setup and Infinity display.

According to a recent report, the company has already received 72,000 Galaxy Note 8 pre-bookings, and registrations have crossed 2.5 lakh in the country – 1.5 lakh on Amazon, and the remaining 1 lakh on the official Samsung website.

The smartphone is now available for pre-bookings in India priced at Rs 67,900 and includes a free clear case, AKG headphones, Type-C to USB adapter and micro USB to Type-C. It will go on sale on Amazon India and offline stores from 21 September 2017 and comes in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colours.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications:The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the company’s own customizations on top. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display.

The Galaxy Note 8 is powered by a Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC (four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four cores clocked at 1.7GHz) coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The Galaxy Note 8, further, comes with 6 Gb RAM along with 64GB of internal storage which and Storage variants include 128GB, and 256GB, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based TouchWiz UI — Samsung Experience UX — and supports 4G LTE connectivity.The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a dual camera system on the rear consisting of two 12-megapixel cameras. While one of the 12-megapixel (Dual Pixel) sensor has an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization, the second 12-megapixel sensor comes with a f/2.4 aperture, again with optical image stabilization to allow for up to 2X optical zoom (and 10X digital zoom).

On the front, the Galaxy Note 8 comes with an 8-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus.

In addition to a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, the Galaxy Note 8 also comes with an iris scanner and facial recognition for biometric security. It comes with Samsung Pass to store all your passwords in one place.

Launch Offers:A special festive offer of Rs. 4,000 cashback for HDFC credit card users was also announced. Samsung also detailed an up to 448GB additional Reliance Jio data offer (over 8 months, with Jio Prime membership complimentary) for Galaxy Note 8 buyers.

The company unveiled a Samsung Upgrade Program offer, where buyers can exchange their old Galaxy Note smartphones for additional discounts.

Early buyers will also get a free wireless charger bundled with the smartphone, as well as a one-time screen replacement.
