In a shocking & disgusting incident, A Russian couple suspected of carrying out dozens of cannibal murders were pictured posing with pictures of human body parts, including a cooked head on a platter of oranges, skinning them alive and eating them according to reports.
The couple, named locally as Dmitry Baksheyev (35) and his wife Natalya (42) are suspected of killing as many as 30 people over the past two decades while living at a military academy in Krasnodar, south-west Russia.
The Telegraph is reporting that the recipes and video lessons for cooking human meat were found in their dormitory, alongside body parts.
The case was exposed after road workers found a phone belonging to the accused man which included selfies of him with a severed hand and other body parts belonging to a woman.
Mr Baksheyev is believed to have killed the woman and cut her up after the couple quarrelled with her during a drinking session three days earlier, according to a statement by the Krasnodar investigative committee.
Some local news organisations published a photo of a man with what appears to be a human hand in his mouth.
Detectives later discovered fragments of a human body in a saline solution and frozen meat of “an unknown origin” in their dorm room.
A search also uncovered remains of the dead woman in a nearby basement.Investigators have announced a murder investigation into the death of the woman.
Mr Baksheyev originally claimed that he simply found the remains and photographed himself with them. However, local media is now reporting that he has made certain confessions.
A local newspaper published a blurred-out photograph, which it said was taken in 1999 and found in the Baksheyev home. It showing a cooked human head on a platter with mandarin oranges.
A local chef has also given an interview claiming Ms Baksheyev interviewed for a job as a chef and “kept asking about meat” and whether he wanted to buy it cheaper.
